while your breath robes the sky
a fire is burning in black and white
the sound of static erupting from
between your lips and trickling
through my teeth whenever we kiss
your hair is the night and
your skin is the morning
the moon’s hide stretched
across your magnificent body
and every time you tremble
I’m afraid we’ll disappear
